The new space offers expanded poker options and additional games
Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River opened its new poker room on Wednesday following a $275 million expansion of its casino. Players can currently participate in cash games until the tournament schedule restarts in July, when two $80 buy-in No-Limit Hold ’em tournaments will be offered every Monday and Thursday evening at 7:00 PM.
The casino declared that the new poker room “features a lavish design and upscale ambiance” where fans can sit down for their favorite cash games, including Three Card Poker and Texas Hold ’em. Hours of operation are Sunday to Thursday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM, extending to 4:00 AM on Friday and Saturday.
Casino customers can now enjoy 25,000 square feet of gaming space with hundreds of slots and several added table game selections. The new 22-seat central casino bar offers lounge seating, various bar-top video games, and eight draft beers on tap. Hours are from 9:00 AM to 2:00 AM daily.
“Players can now try their luck at one of the 300 new slot machines or eight additional table games,” said Harrah’s in a press release. “Further enhancing its gaming lineup, the expansion also introduces the highly requested World Series of Poker – Poker Room.”
