Alex Foxen has another great run at the tables as he captures his latest win
Alex Foxen continues his dominance on the live poker circuit. He already has four final tables in high-stakes events in January, with his most recent victory at the 2024 Lucky Hearts Poker Open $25,500 No-Limit Hold’em high roller event at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
Foxen is also having a solid start to 2024 after placing ninth in the POY standings last year. The 32-year-old two-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner has been in the top ten on the Card Player of the Year leaderboard six straight times, including a fourth-place finish in 2021 and 2022.
Fifty entrants created a $1,235,000 prize pool in the Lucky Hearts Poker Open, with Foxen taking the top prize of $426,075 to raise his lifetime earnings to almost $32.3 million. He also earned 420 POY points, bringing his total for the year to 965, good enough for fourth in the 2024 standings presented by Global Poker.
Foxen’s three other final-table finishes in 2024 included two fourth-places at the PGT Last Chance series and a fifth-place in the $10,500 buy-in event at the PGT kickoff festival, which was won by his wife Kristen, a four-time bracelet winner who is in 12th in the 2024 POY standings with three final tables and a title at the PGT Last Chance series in 2024.
With $7,989,541 in career earnings, Kristen is the second highest-earning female player of all time behind Vanessa Selbst ($10,899,027).
Kristen also reached this final table with her husband, taking fourth place for $117,325. Kevin Rabichow would finish second for $284,050 and his fourth-biggest career score, putting him over $3.7 million in career tournament cashes.
