A special event for the Make-A-Wish Foundation will be held at the venue on April 3
The Charity Series of Poker (CSOP) is set to return next month with a special event in Hollywood, Florida. The Larry Frank Memorial Charity Event will take place on April 3 at Seminole Hard Rock, bringing together poker enthusiasts for a night dedicated to supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida.
The evening will begin with a reception at 5:30 PM in the Grand Ballroom, where attendees can enjoy a cocktail hour, hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction. Those who wish to attend the reception without playing in the tournament can do so for a $100 donation. Business casual attire is recommended for the event.
The main attraction of the night is the charity poker tournament, which starts at 7:00 PM. The event follows a turbo format and offers a prize pool worth approximately $15,000. The winner will take home $5,000 in cash, while a $3,500 seat for the World Poker Tour Seminole Poker Showdown championship will also be awarded.
Additionally, the chip leader at the break will receive a $1,000 bonus, and other final table prizes will be up for grabs. The tournament has a $300 buy-in and allows unlimited re-buys until registration closes.
Several notable figures are expected to attend, including WPT Executive Tour Director Matt Savage and Florida poker pro Michael Mizrachi. The Charity Series of Poker, founded in 2014 by professional player Matt Stout, has been organizing events for over a decade to raise funds for various charitable causes. This will mark the 81st stop for the series.
Proceeds from the event will go toward granting life-changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses, continuing Make-A-Wish Southern Florida’s long-standing mission of providing hope and strength to families in need.
